TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the hire of equipment and related services provided by Arcades2U. By booking with us, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not accept these terms, please do not proceed with a booking.
2. Scope of Services
2.1 Arcades2U provides arcade machine hire and on-site support, with a company representative present during the event to oversee the hired equipment.
2.2 Services are available across the UK, subject to additional costs for delivery.
3. Payment Terms
3.1 A deposit is required to confirm a booking. Full payment must be made before the event.
3.2 Payments can be made in instalments, but the full amount must be received before the event date.
3.3 Deposits are non-refundable.
3.4 Cancellations are subject to a penalty, depending on the notice period given.
3.5 Rescheduling is possible but depends on the availability of equipment for the new date. Additional fees may apply.
3.6 Late payments may incur penalties in accordance with statutory interest regulations.
4. Usage of Equipment
4.1 Equipment cannot be used outdoors unless preauthorised by Arcades2U.
4.2 The hirer is responsible for ensuring proper use of the equipment.
4.3 Any damage to the equipment, including but not limited to misuse or mishandling, will require the hirer to cover the full cost of repairs.
5. Delivery and Collection
5.1 Arcades2U delivers to all locations within the UK.
5.2 Additional fees apply if access requires stairs, lifts, or incurs extra costs (e.g., congestion charges, ULEZ, metered parking).
5.3 If delivery cannot be completed due to access restrictions or other unforeseen issues, the equipment will be returned to base with no refund issued.
6. Disputes and Liability
6.1 All equipment is checked and signed off by the hirer before the event.
6.2 In the event of equipment failure, Arcades2U will attempt to resolve the issue where possible.
6.3 Arcades2U is not liable for any losses arising from equipment failure unless caused by negligence on our part.
7. Cancellations and Changes
7.1 Booking changes, including date or equipment modifications, must be made via email or phone. Additional fees may apply.
7.2 No partial refunds are provided for shortened events or unused equipment.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
